About

🌿 Rooted in Real Life

Lanier Mercantile was born out of rediscovery — a return to making things with care, intention, and a touch of imperfection. After more than twenty-five years away from crafting, I dusted off my creative tools, poured a cup of dandelion root tea and started again — this time surrounded by the stillness of Kentucky’s Green River Lake and memories of Georgia’s Lake Lanier.

Every piece you’ll find here — whether it’s a mug, a coaster, or a digital print — begins as a simple idea in my small studio, usually with my pitbull Rogue curled up nearby. Nothing is mass-produced. Each design is hand-pressed, sublimated, or finished by me, with the little quirks that remind us it came from human hands.

✨ What We Believe

Lanier Mercantile isn’t just a store — it’s a mindset.

It’s about slowing down, appreciating texture, color, and story.

It’s about useful things that make you smile every time you pick them up.

It’s about reconnecting to the act of making — even if it’s messy sometimes.

Our mission is simple:

to create thoughtful goods that feel personal —

and to build a creative community that celebrates care over perfection.

🎨 The Mercantile Experience

You’ll find seasonal collections, nature-inspired designs, and limited-edition bundles that feel like gifts — even when they’re for yourself. Many pieces tie back to the land and water that inspire them: lakes, forests, campgrounds, and cozy porches.
